Bias

Dominant culture has a bigger bias toward Minor culture, because cultural products (newspapers, books, media, theaters, cinema) from the Dominant prevail, making it easier for the Minor to be exposed to them, while the cultural products of the Minor are less abundant and available to broader audiences, or take more inaccessible forms of transmission (alien scripts, oral tradition etc.). Hence, the Dominant has a larger portion of misunderstanding of the Minor, while the latter knows about the Dominant virtually everything.

This is one of the mechanisms that destroy civilizations. Beware the greatest of today!
